Maintenance of low flow high torque hydraulic motor

2022-06-06

For low flow high torque hydraulic motor, we need to understand its maintenance knowledge and principles. Today we have compiled some maintenance content about this type of motor and share it with you.

1. In order to work smoothly for the low flow high torque hydraulic motor motor, a certain oil return back pressure is required, especially for the inner curve motor. Otherwise, the rollers will be separated from the surface of the stator guide rail, resulting in impact, vibration and noise. damage. The back pressure value should not be too large. According to the relationship between the torque of the hydraulic motor and its inlet and outlet pressure difference, when the inlet pressure is constant, when the back pressure increases, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the hydraulic motor will inevitably decrease, so Causes the hydraulic motor to rotate weakly. In general, the oil return back pressure should be 0.3MPa-1.0MPa.

2. The oil drain line is generally not connected to the oil return line of the system. For a motor with a flushing system, the oil drain line can act as the oil return line for flushing. When the motor shaft is installed horizontally, the drain line should be connected to the drain port at the uppermost end of the housing. If the motor shaft is installed in a vertical direction, the oil drain pipe should be connected to the optional oil drain port on the upper end cover of the motor. If necessary, an appropriate back pressure can be added to the oil drain line. The back pressure value should not be too large, otherwise the axial If the sealing ring is damaged and causes leakage, the back pressure value should be controlled below 0.5MPa, and the instantaneous peak value during operation should be less than 0.8MPa, which can be known by measuring the pressure of the motor casing), so that the inside of the motor is always filled with oil. And can reduce the running noise of the motor.

Because the internal curve multi-action hydraulic motor has a low speed and a large load, it is difficult for the internal rolling bearing to form a lubricating oil film, so it should be lubricated regularly, and the cycle is generally 2000h~3000h.

3. When replacing the motor, try to make the output shaft of the motor less or free from radial force to ensure that the internal support bearing of the motor is not subject to additional force, otherwise, the oil distribution mechanism will be skewed after long-term use, which will affect its use. life. Therefore, when the motor is installed, the transmission shaft must be concentric with other mechanical connections, or a flexible connection should be used. For motors with torque arms, the motor and torque arm should be connected first, and then the torque arm should be secured to prevent damage to the housing or valve shaft.

Be good at catching fault signals and take timely measures. Small changes in sound, vibration, and temperature can all mean a problem with the motor. The motor is worn out and has internal leaks that increase with temperature. External leaks can also occur because internal leaks can deform the gaskets and gaskets. For the judgment of motor internal leakage, the author's maintenance experience is: first cut off the oil return pipe of the motor, stop the system flushing and disconnect the connection between the motor and the flushing pipeline, then adjust the system pressure to the lowest, after starting the oil pump, gradually increase the pressure Adjusted to the normal range, the change of case pressure and leakage can be observed at the pressure measuring point and the oil drain port of the motor. If necessary, tests can be carried out in both forward and reverse directions.

4. Keep the hydraulic oil as clean as possible. Behind most hydraulic motor failures lies a decline in hydraulic oil quality. Failures are mostly caused by solid particles (particulates), contaminants, and gels from overheating. The general experience is that the oil cleanliness of a hydraulic system with a hydraulic motor should be kept within NAS9 at least. Otherwise, the impurities contained in the hydraulic oil will cause the surface wear of the friction parts in the motor, and the friction pairs will wear into grooves, resulting in increased leakage.
