1. Properties of hydraulic oil

(1) physical properties

④Low temperature performance

Pour point: the lowest temperature at which it can flow; Freezing point: the highest temperature at which it stops flowing. It needs to be lower than the lowest ambient temperature of 5~7℃, such as HV/HS hydraulic oil is suitable for cold area.

(2) Chemical properties

① Thermal stability: not easy to decompose at high temperatures, prevent sludge and acid generation.

② oxidative stability: resistance to oxygen oxidation, extend the life of the oil, reduce the risk of viscosity increase and corrosion (operating temperature > 60 ℃ need to focus on).

③Hydrolytic stability: not easy to decompose and deteriorate in contact with water, maintain stable performance.

④ Compatibility: no erosion of seals, coatings and other non-metallic materials, and vice versa.

⑥ anti-emulsification: can be quickly separated after mixing with water to prevent the emulsion from affecting the lubrication.

 

2. Hydraulic orbital motor requirements for hydraulic fluid

Different working machines, different use of hydraulic oil requirements are very different; in order to transfer the movement and power well, the hydraulic oil should have the following properties:

(1) suitable viscosity, good viscosity and temperature characteristics.

(2) Good lubricating properties.

(3) Pure texture, few impurities.

(4) Good compatibility with metals and seals.

(5) Good emulsification resistance, low corrosion, good rust resistance.

(6) Small volume expansion coefficient, large specific heat capacity.

(7) Harmless to human body, low cost.

 

3. Hydraulic oil pollution control

Hydraulic oil contamination is one of the main reasons for the failure of the hydraulic system. It seriously affects the reliability of the hydraulic system and the life of hydraulic components.

(1) the root cause of pollution: solid pollutants into the hydraulic oil has four roots: has been contaminated with new oil, residual pollution, invasive pollution and internal generation of pollution.

(2) the harm of pollution: more than 75% of the failure of the hydraulic system is caused by the working medium pollutants.

(3) Contamination control of hydraulic fluid  

 

Completely solve the problem of hydraulic oil contamination is very difficult. In order to extend the life of hydraulic components, to ensure that the hydraulic system works reliably, the hydraulic oil pollution control within a certain limit is a more practical approach. The following measures can be taken:

① cleaning of components and systems before formal operation.

② to prevent the intrusion of pollutants from the outside world.

③ In the appropriate part of the hydraulic system to set up a suitable filter.

④ control the temperature of the hydraulic oil, hydraulic oil temperature is too high will accelerate its oxidative deterioration, produce a variety of generators, shorten its service life.

(5) regular inspection and replacement, regular sampling of hydraulic oil, analyze the degree of contamination, such as has not been required, must be replaced immediately.
